Extraordinary success at the 2024 OCR European Championships

Five Days of Exciting Competitions

Athletes competed in different categories, from 100 meter supersprint at the 3km Short Race, from the Standard Race of 12 km at the Team Relay, without forgetting the Fun Race open to all competitions dedicated to children. The focal point was the 100 meter circuit with 12 obstacles arranged along a linear course, where the athletes showcased their incredible speed, balance, agility and technique.

Italian records and performances

The route record of little more than 26 seconds, established by a Polish athlete, came close to breaking the world record, demonstrating the very high level of the competition, but our Italian athletes also gave us great satisfaction. The Twins d'Ambruoso, Francesca and Elizabeth they placed respectively at first and second place in the Female master category, Sara Beggio to the second place in the Female Youth category, Alberto Miotti medal of bronze in the junior category, Yuri Prices gold medal in the Adaptive category as well as many other wonderful performances and individual experiences from all the representatives of our national team.

After the individual competitions, the 100 meter relay race in which 4 athletes each shared a stretch of the route with obstacles to overcome, here too Italy stood out with the quartet made up of Alberto Miotti, Valentino De Vanna, Francesca Dambruoso And Giulia Pieralli finishing in second place.

In addition to the "speed” sui 100 meters the blue colors also conquered the other distances several podiums both in the Elite category both in age categories, which gives us hope for the youth and future of these athletes, despite the strong competition from athletes belonging to other cultural and technical training schools.
